Eucharistic
Adoration is our response to Jesus’ love for us, whereby
each of us is willing to spend a quiet holy hour of prayer
in His Eucharistic Presence once a week on a regular basis.
All the hours are organized in such a way that each hour is
covered by at least one or two of us, so that Jesus is never
left alone, and the chapel is always open for anyone who may
want to visit Him.
“If we are willing only to do what
is ordinary then we can only expect God’s ordinary blessings.
Only when we are willing to do the extraordinary are we guaranteed
of obtaining God’s extraordinary blessings. Perpetual
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is absolutely the extraordinary
effort that God is asking for today in order that He may bestow
upon mankind His extraordinary blessings. When we are willing
to do on earth what is done in heaven, i.e., adore God perpetually,
then God will create a “new heaven” and a “new
earth”. Ricardo J. Cardinal Vidal
Currently the Resurrection Chapel adoration
hours are Sunday 7PM through Friday 11PM. Prayerfully consider
signing up for an hour of Adoration to enhance this program.
The commitment is One Hour per week in prayer with Our Lord.
There is always a need for additional Adorers and Substitutes.
Pope John Paul II tells us in Dominicae
Cenae:
“Jesus waits for us in this sacrament
of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet
Him in adoration and in contemplation that is full of faith
and ready to make reparation for the great faults and crimes
of the world. May our adoration never cease.”
